What Makes an Earthquake?

Have you ever felt an earthquake before? Have you ever wondered how scientists measure the strength of an earthquake? Geologists, the people who study rocks, measure earthquakes with a seismograph! In this activity we will be exploring what seismic waves are and build our own seismograph to measure earthquakes.
