Seeing Light

Our sense of vision allows us to see the world around us. We use it to see a family member smile, a bird flying past us or the traffic light change from green to yellow and then red. The human eye does a great job of giving us visual information and it can do this because it lets light into our eye. Everything we see comes from light produced by something, like the Sun or a flashlight, or is reflected off of a surface. In this lesson, students will investigate where light comes from and how light helps us see all the things around us.
