Throughout time, people have been tracking and recording weather patterns in the hopes of predicting future storms and daily forecasts. However, the technology scientists use today to quickly communicate weather patterns around the world did not always exist. In this activity, students will explore the technological advancements in weather predictions through a simulation. This will help students discover how technology has made the prediction of weather more effective and accurate.
