Passing Through

Our sense of vision allows us to see the world around us. Everything we see is a result of the object producing its own light, like the Sun or a flashlight, or reflecting light off of its surface, like the Moon. In addition to the reflection of light, light is also able to pass through materials. Due to the properties of various materials, light can pass through very easily or not at all. In this lesson, students will investigate how light passes through materials, due to their observable properties.
