Energy on the Move

Energy is all around us and can be moved from place to place by moving objects or through sound or light. Light transfers energy from place to place, for example, light is transferred from the Sun to Earth. This transfer of light warms the Earth and provides living things with necessary energy to grow and develop. In this lesson, students will conduct an investigation and develop and use models to describe how sunlight transfers energy and helps plants grow over time.
