Energy exists all around us in different forms such as heat, light, kinetic, and even chemical energy from our food sources! In addition to the different forms in which energy can exist, energy can also be transferred from one source to another. For example, during a car collision, the moving car transfers its energy to the stationary car, converting its energy from potential to kinetic. In this lesson, students will explore how heat energy can be transferred from one source to another, in order to develop a solution to increase the efficiency of energy transfer.
