Radical Rainbows
For decades, scientists have been able to closely analyze the creation of sound and light through the analysis of different waves. Through their extensive research, scientists have discovered that there is a plethora of different waves that create the simple joys of our lives such as music, color, and even heat. In this lesson, students will discover the different characteristics in light waves and how their different characteristics allow us to see color. With the use of a mathematical model and inspiration from Isaac Newton himself, students will be able to develop a mathematical model that explains the different light wave characteristics.
