Slip and Slide!
Scientists have spent years learning more and more about our earth’s history! In their research, scientists discovered that at one point, all of our continents were actually all connected and created one large supercontinent! Over time, plate tectonics began to separate and slowly but surely created our “New Earth” with all of the continents we see today. In this lesson, students will create a model that illustrates how these continental shapes were formed and prove that these amazing plates have been moving for decades!
