Lesson Plan: Lice to Meet You!
Estimated Time: 60 minutes
We’re in this together! Interdependent organisms living together in a particular environment of non-living things form a well-balanced ecosystem, as all things in nature are connected to and reliant on each other in some way. Symbiotic relationships occur when there is an interaction linking organisms together. These relationships are complex and can be positive, negative or neutral. In this lesson, students will develop and use models to demonstrate a parasitic relationship between two organisms in which one benefits and the other is negatively affected.
