Lesson Plan: It's What's on the Inside That Counts!
Estimated time: 30 minutes
Matter describes the material or “stuff” that makes up everything around us! All states of matter, including solids, liquids and gases, are made up of particles that are too small to see. However, all examples of matter and the particles that make them up can be detected in various ways. In this lesson, students will engage in an activity to analyze and interpret data in order to explain that matter is made up of smaller particles.
