Lesson Plan: I'm Not "Kitten" Around!
Estimated Time: 30 minutes
Different animals use their body parts in different ways to see, hear, grasp objects, protect themselves, move from place to place, and seek, find, and take in food, water, and air. Cats and kittens have many body parts that help them respond to the world around them. Students will take a closer look at the whiskers on a cat and explore for themselves why they are necessary.
