Lesson Plan: Energy on the Move!
Estimated Time: 35 minutes
Energy can be found all around us! In fact, energy is present whenever there are moving objects, sound, light, or heat. Energy can actually be moved from place to place by moving objects or through sound, light, or electric currents. When objects collide, energy can be transferred from one object to another, thereby changing their motion. In this lesson, students will engage in an investigation to analyze and interpret data in order to determine how and where energy is transferred when objects move.
