It's Getting Hot In Here!
All organisms are made up of cells, tissues and organ systems. These structures and systems help living things function properly in order to maintain life. Organisms are all constantly creating energy through the structures of their systems which results in creating a stable internal environment to perform these functions, this is called homeostasis. Homeostasis is affected by external factors such as temperature. In this lesson, students will explore how organisms are able to maintain homeostasis and create a functioning internal environment in order to maintain life.
