Agree or Disagree?

Earth has changed greatly over time. Understanding how landforms develop, are weathered (broken down into smaller pieces), and eroded away (get transported elsewhere) can help students infer the history of the current landscape. All of this evidence can be used to develop a model for how Earth has changed over time. Use this formative assessment probe in order to evaluate student understanding and possible misconceptions prior to engaging in the Creating a Canyon lesson.
